As a speech language pathologist, Billie Shaw understands the importance of fostering independence. She works with clients who want and need to communicate independently. It may look like finding their voice, learning to listen, participating in social language or reading and writing with confidence.
Billie is a licensed speech language pathologist in the state of Florida. She has over 15 years of experience as a speech therapist, working in both hospitals and private practice. This, along with her education, taught her how to best meet the unique needs of your child.
She holds a national Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Eckerd College in 1993; An Associate’s degree in American Sign Language Interpreting from St Petersburg College in 2004; And a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2006.
